Do you reccommend I buy anything???

I know it's bulk buy but we monthly shop anyway so this ain't a problem as it's payday

Any suggestions will be much appreciated as I have only been there once before

We buy their meat and then portion it up into our own freezer bags and pack out the freezer. Have found their chicken breasts, fillet steak and steak minced beef to be good. We also love their carot cake.We also do the kitchen roll, toilet roll, bottled water and cafetiere coffee. Oh, and nappies and wipes, of course!
Have a great time. Try not to buy a huge swimming pool or bouncy castle......

Nemo1977 · 27/06/2006 08:58

we get mince and split it.
we always get washing powder conditioner from there
Bread rolls part baked
naan bread
chocolate muffins

I find the nappies and wipes are not as cheap as they could be unless on offer. Otherwise tescos own tend to be better.

mythumbelinas · 27/06/2006 09:03

i used to buy nappies from there, but they're not as cheap anymore!
i buy the slab of salmon .. me and dd1 love it, and the tray of danishes, croissants, breads etc
drinks, juices .. some toys
my dh wants to buy the plasma tv next time we go .. i like the 46"one, but dreaming

jambuttie · 27/06/2006 09:20

hubby wants a plasma too

let's see...
chicken breasts
mince
ketchup
naan
cooking oil
ready to bake pizzas are nice
oh and they've got these awesome cleaning wipes that kill bacteria and other nasties.
And sometimes you get good deals on clothes. I got a rain jacket there that was worth £40 for a tenner.

MrsMuddle · 27/06/2006 11:06

I buy children's books - DK etc, and keep them for birthday presents. They're much cheaper than elsewhere. I also buy a slab of small cartons of orane juice for packed lunches, and I got a lovely pair of Diesel trainers for £25 last time I was there too. You've put me in the mood. I might go today too...

anorak · 27/06/2006 11:26

can you see if they still have the big packs of scrapbooking paper please?

mythumbelinas · 27/06/2006 11:33

oh, and i get my digital pics printed there

MrsRecycle · 27/06/2006 11:35

Along with the meat/washing powder/loo roll/cheddar cheese, I looove their oranges - brought a big box and just juiced them. Lasted the whole week. In fact can't wait until I'm on maternity leave as I'll be taking a trip there every week.

Also tortilla wraps - check the sell-by date.

Oh and I've put the rain jacket on today - the only thing that will cover my bump

Gingerbear · 27/06/2006 11:41

How does one acquire a Costco card? Are you all self-employed small businesses?

Twinkie1 · 27/06/2006 11:45

Birkenstocks - lots of them in all different colours!!!

Crushed Garlic.

Tomato Ketchup - if your kids go through it like mine.

QueenPeaHead · 27/06/2006 20:30

buy lots of toys and books for children's birthday presents - I always get brilliant stuff for the endless class birthday parties there.

QueenPeaHead · 27/06/2006 20:32

gingerbear you can get one if you are a teacher or lawyer or policeman or civil servant or other professional eg architect (that is 1 in 5 of us apparently ) or own a small business or are self employed.... quite difficult NOT to be eligible!

Gingerbear · 28/06/2006 10:05

QueenPeaHead · 28/06/2006 11:01
