How's it going? Any luck with your selling your house (or indeed, deciding where to live??)

I've been very good and haven't been on MN for a while but couldn't resist today and I know I'm about to get sucked back iiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn..............

hello there - just noticed, I'm honoured and humbled to be in a thread title

How are you FN? How are your studies/work going? Hopefully calmed down a bit now??

We're on the move -renting out tho not sold so am soon to be a landlady, wd you believe

Off to the Cotswolds finally (after all that angsting, thanks again for all yr help). We must meet up some time, hae to come out and see us if you fancy a day trip??

MissChief · 11/07/2006 10:46

..and if you want ot avoid being sucked in again then dont check out that "why are some women content to do all the housework thread" - as you can imagine, it's become ever so slightly controversial..
I know you'll never escape us now ..

It's ridiculously exciting to be in a thread title, isn't it??

Things are calming down here - exams done and I'm scaling back on work so hopefully the hideousness of the last few months won't be repeated.

Really glad that you've made a decision - honey coloured character won out then ? When are you set to move? It would be good to catch up either before or after you move.

Oh noooo, I can't resist threads like that but they take so long to read!

I'll post a thread for you some time, make you come over all important

would love to meet up - we're off soon so would be better towards end of summer if you're around then or are you away with the kids?

flashingnose · 11/07/2006 11:14

We're away the last two weeks of August. Hmmm...how long do you think it would take to drive to you? About an hour and a bit? Just thinking that a day in September, with the kids back at school and me driving down to meet you for coffee sounds very appealing (and I could meet your not so new baby who's probably about 2 now ). What do you think?

sept day sounds lovely! Think it wd be about 1 hr (as oxon not glos)..but you'd have to stay for lunch not coffee after the drive! lots to see around. back at work soon (ds2 nrly 1!)but at home half the week so hopefully overlap with when you're off too..

flashingnose · 11/07/2006 12:52

Excellent, it's a date! Are you going back to the same place to work? Or same thing but different location?

Will you be near Harpsichordcarrier or Pruni, aren't they Oxon way?

OP posts:
MissChief · 11/07/2006 12:55

oh, don't "know" them, IYKWIM - do you? Might check that out then...
same old same old re job - might get sth more local in longterm but worth going back as it's a decent job and part-time so of course I'm eternally grateful

flashingnose · 11/07/2006 13:03

No, don't know them, have just registered where they are for some reason. Think Flum's not too far away either but I could be very wrong about that. Might be worth a CAT?
