getting mildew off curtain linings

anyone know how to do it? Will dry cleaning do the trick? Is there a cheaper way?

I would suggest you take the linings off the curtains and soak them in something like nappisan overnight.

Then a very very very hot wash. Dry outside, then soak in an acid such as vinegar to kill off the fungus, lots of vinegar, then a very very very hot wash - maybe a drop of bleach if they are white or cream.
