My page is in the corner of the screen showing the desktop behind it. I can't drag it to fill the screen. The minimise/close buttons are hidden.

How can I get it back to normal?

pretty please

Which app is this? IE? Or what?

Earlymornings · 24/06/2006 19:49

Right click in the tools bar on the bottom of your screen and click on restore and take it from there.

F11 ?

JoolsToo · 24/06/2006 19:54

Yes internet explorer

F11 gives me full screen but when I minimise it goes back into the corner!

I don't have a tool bar at the bottom of the screen. Tool bar at the top doesn't have 'restore' button???????

Depending of course on how many things you have open, but it's next to your "start" block and then right click on the "mumsnet disc..."

JoolsToo · 24/06/2006 20:03

sorry I don't get what you mean.

I click on start then what?

control+alt+delete

the answer to all PC woes.

SaintGeorge · 24/06/2006 20:05

Is any of the dark blue bar at the top of the page showing?

If it is click on it, hold the mouse button and drag the window until the minimise etc boxes appear.

Earlymornings · 24/06/2006 20:07

Sorry. Next to your "start". I have a grey border with the start in the one corner and the time in the other and in the middle are al the programs that I am running.

There should be a "mumsnet Disc..." block there in a lighter grey or what ever colour, right click on that.

Good job I never went to train for a teacher.

JoolsToo · 24/06/2006 20:09

ctrl alt delete just wants me to disconnect and I tried that first.

STG that's the prob - I can't drag it - its stuck!

Early mornings I know what you mean now but I can't see that bar currently!

Right click on toolbar. Choose cascade. All windows you have open should pile themselves on top of each other. Size each as you want them.

JoolsToo · 24/06/2006 20:11

thanks everyone - I minimised and followed early morning instructions - found the restore button that NQC mentioned and everything seems normal ....... for now!

Thanks everyone you're brilliant

I'll buy you all an orange at Christmas
