Guess what ds (3) just said to dp?

The thing is I honestly can't think where he would have heard it.

Dp's face was a picture:

DS: I bloody love you.
DP: what???
DS: I bloody love you.
DP: I love you too

That's so sweet!

Does he generally use "bloody"?

FrannyandZooey · 21/06/2006 18:45

Nope, it's a first. Shall I go and write it into his baby book?

PinkTulips · 21/06/2006 18:46

PMSL bloody cute though

NotQuiteCockney · 21/06/2006 18:46

I'd think so.

DS1 still likes to say "oh my god", but saves it for particularly strong feelings. Like finding Gran has made biscuits (gran always makes biscuits).

EmmyLou · 21/06/2006 19:13

Has he been secretly watching old Brookside episodes?

Perhaps Bob the Builder has finally said it to Wendy?

PanicPants · 21/06/2006 19:18

How cute!

southeastastra · 21/06/2006 20:06

or ray winstone films!

harpsichordcarrier · 21/06/2006 20:07

that is SO funny
had he been drinking??

FrannyandZooey · 21/06/2006 20:30

We spent the last half hour before bedtime torn between being desperate for him to repeat it as it was so funny, and determined not to encourage it as it is really extremely naughty.

Me: Do you love mummy?
DS: Yes
Me: Do you love mummy in the same way you love Daddy?
DS: Yes
DP: And how do you love Daddy?
DS:

Me: What story would you like now? Would you like "Guess How Much I Bloody Love You"?

LOL! DD, 3, said "bleedin'" today to my Dad.

But only because he said it first

"Who dropped all these bleeding strawberries on the floor GD?"

"I dropped the bleedin strawberries on the floor Grandad"

WelshBoris · 21/06/2006 20:36

He sounds like me when drunk

i bloody love you i do

Posey · 21/06/2006 20:36

That is so lovely!
Am just getting over the fact dd doesn't say it anymore (with or without bloody)

beansprout · 21/06/2006 20:37

Fantastic!

FrannyandZooey · 21/06/2006 20:39

Have you been phoning my ds again?

OP posts:
beansprout · 21/06/2006 20:40

Is ds saying that "you're my best mate, you are" while leaning quite heavily on you?

Gingerbear · 21/06/2006 20:41

Franny, I love it!

hunkermunker · 21/06/2006 20:41

FrannyandZooey · 21/06/2006 20:43

There really isn't enough swearing in children's books if you ask me.

WelshBoris · 21/06/2006 20:45

between this, UCM and "christ on a bike" my ribs are killing me

Mercy · 21/06/2006 20:45

ds' current favourite word (and used in appropriate context) is "oh, shit". Have no idea where he learnt that from . dd also said "bugger" quite often.

Fortunately his other favourite expression is "lub" ! ie, "lub mummy". He is 2.3.

They soon grown out of it - and then learn things like "willy head" at school. grrrr. Bloody kids!

FrannyandZooey · 21/06/2006 20:47

Ooh what have I missed? What is Christ on a bike please? I have been AFK all day and feel well out of the loop

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 21/06/2006 20:47

What's this christ on a bike thing? I've shortened that one to "crikey bikey" so I'm sure DS1 will come out with something inappropriate soon enough

I love you right the way up to...oh, hang on, I feel a bit ..right the way up to that highest splatter of vomit.

WelshBoris · 21/06/2006 20:48

moondog saw some fancy cat food and said

christ on a bike

FrannyandZooey · 21/06/2006 20:48

I love you all the way up to my shavey head and Engerland t-shirt
