Universal Resource Locator (the address of a web site, so www.mumsnet.co.uk is yer URL)

Yep, IE is your browser or whatever else your using

OS is Operating System - Windows usually, others are Linux or you cold be a Mac user.

URL = Uniform Resource Locator (or "web address"). Those mot people see start www.mydomain.com/blahdiblah/index.html or something like that but there are other prefixes like ftp:// or gopher://

Ok, 3 replies and 3 diffs for exact meaning of URL. I thought it was Universal, but could very very very well be wrong as seem to have lost my brain whilst bringing up kids.
