How do I get the front panel off of a fitted dishwasher ?

Sorry for posting this here - mn doesn't seem to have a DIY section !

The handle on the door of my fitted dishwasher is loose and I want to tighten it up. I am not sure how I get the door off though. Has anyone done this before and how do you do it ?

On mine there are a couple of screws along the side of the door which you can see when the door is open, and then door panel is hooked onto the dishwasher door and lifts off.

Thanks bran. Are the screws about half way down each side of the dishwasher, in the metal bit ? I thought it looked like these were the ones but didn't want to unscrew in case it all fell to bits !

Yes, on mine there's a plastic plug thing covering them as the screws inside the dishwasher door. Only do it if you are feeling very patient as we changed our dishwasher recently and it took ages to get the door panel right. It will probably take two people to get it back on as well as one person needs to hold it level while the other does the screws.
