My DH is a huge fan of the Final Fantasy RPG games. I'd love to get him the soundtrack CDs, but they are ridiculously expensive to buy over here on import. I've checked on ebay and they are still very pricey. I don't know whether they just cost a lot in Japan, or if its just that the price is bumped up over here due to lack of availability and demand.

What I really want to know is how much they actually cost - and if there is any way of getting it directly (ie through a MNer!)

Its DHs birthday in March, so I just thought I'd give this a try - long shot that it is.

Ta very much

My brother is in Japan, I will ask him. Can you explain a little bit more, I have never heard of the Final FAntasy RPG games, want to be able to say what it is!

I must learn to look back on threads more often!!

Final Fantasy is a HUGE RPG game, popular over here and over there - started out on the Ninetendo and then on to playstation and now on PS2. Currently up to number 11 (Final Fantasy X-2) which is out soon. There was even a film released a couple of years ago. You can get loads of extras - have a look here on ebay , but as I said the music CDs are expensive and I'd just like to know if they are there too IYKWIM, whether its worth trying to buy direct! It would be lovely if your brother could help me, thanks very much Mummya

The only pleace I could get a sound track called Final Fantasy was Tesco.com !!
But I'm not too sure whether or not it's the same thing ... (Elliot Goldenthal) - whoever this is.

But it costs just over £11 !!

Costs about £30

crystaltips · 20/02/2004 16:26

Lydialemon, we are off to Tokyo on Mar 28th....too late? But dh will ask his brother, who's into that kind of thing, or search on Japanese web pages. It may be though that with postage here it may come to a similar price. Will give it a try though (getting the info I mean!).

lydialemon · 20/02/2004 16:39

Thanks Crystaltips

I've had a look - I think DH wants 8 and 9, but looking on Amazon it says they are 4 CD sets, which must be why they cost £30+. I don't think that is that bad a price for 4 CDs! I think DH must be just be balking at paying that amount on himself for something so essentially sad and geeky!! I can't imagine I'd get them much cheaper (with shipping etc) from Japan.

Well thats his 35th sorted then.

Sorry Lydialemon, I only remembered about this just now... Do you still need the CDs sent from Japan?
