Name Tags!

Have left the sewing of name tags until now and have about 60 to do, plus socks by next Thursday. Haven't done this before and am now having a bit of a panic. They are cash's woven tapes. Lots of advice needed please Grin Grin

  • friends have recommended buying a small / beginner sewing machine and doing them with that. Is that quite easy?
  • have iron on labels for socks - where is the best place to do them? Have found some threads on here mentioning the short end - is that the toe end?
  • Any idea how long it takes?

It will be fine, you can do it in front of the tv. Get thread roughly the same colour as the clothes to hide mistakes

And it will be far easier hand sewing them in than using a sewing machine.

I don't buy sew in labels I but stickins. They are great and if you stick them on the laundry label they stay on for ages. my links never work from my phone but I buy them from a company called label planet. I ordered some 3 weeks ago and they came the next day Grin
