My day so far...

Firstly I found dd playing with a little rubber mouse that had huge shinks out of it and a missing tail- through a process of elimination foudn ot that she had actually eaten it Then she got a brand new bottle of (thankfully) clear nail polish and poured it on the carpet . I jumped up in a panic, ran through to kitchen with her in hot pursuit, grabbed Vanish out the cupboard and knocked a jar of pasta onto the floor. Glass and pasta EVERYWHERE so sat dd on the worktop in case she cut her feet then while I was sweeping it all up I looked up to see dd playing with a big knife. I shouted at her and ran over to grab it and in response she started crying hysterically because I 'gave her a fright'. Therefore I am trying to clean up glass (how did it travel into 3 rooms?)while consoling her and worrying about the nail polish setting ont he carpet.

So now I am panicking about whether the rubber will cause dd any damage, if I picked up all the glass, how much damage the carpet will have and most importantly how much worse my day can get

oooh, I'd go back to bed if I were you :o

Oh to go bask to bed!! Would stay there for days and days if I could....
Nothing else has happened since then (touch wood) although ican hear dd bouncing on my bed so I@m waiting cautiously for the next event

BTW, huge shinks are actually huge chunks
I rang NHS Direct and they reckon that because the toy was bought in this country it won't be poisonous and as it wasn't sharp or very big it shouldn't cause any damage. I do have to monitor the pooo for 2 weeks tho
