Quick decision please cos I cant make it on my own

Booked a function room for party on sunday, they have now told me that there is no staff to do the bar in the room, we would have to use the bar in the main club, which will be full of med students watching footie and I am worried my guests will end up half in one room and half in another. Oh and we cant have any music

Have found somewhere else that can do it cheaper, ok the function room is not as nice but it has a bar, music and parking available.

Please tell me what to do, shall I stick with my original plan or re-book (this other place did come recommended though)

I think the cheaper one where you are all together would be better for your guests (unless they want to watch footie !). You can always decorate it if you need to make it look better

Its not a party without music and a bar FFS! Move to the other one quick.

even if the new one has a wood pannelled bar (shudder) and old style bar seating

keep telling myself people will not remember seating they will remember having a good drink with everyone else at the party

cheaper one with all your guests at the one do together. The peaple will make it - more than the venue. If your guests get split up and half of them end up watching the footie I doubt people will say..but wasn't it a lovely place!

spend the difference on decorations then

rebook. your guests will split up in the original one and to have no music is a bit grim.
