Anyone going to ikea???

been talking to other mnetters about getting one of these clocks that are colour coded to let little ones know what time they can get up in morn..when a little brite spark..suggested Ikea's which are about 1.50 and paint the colours on!

we lives miles away from one, so just cheekily wondered if anyones going that could pick me one up..i can send cheque/p.o/paypal..whatever

hi soupy..all products are different in each store? are you closest to cardif(sorry if totally out there!)..but i cant find the clock on my nearest or that one?

Evesmama, as someone who has one of those clocks and painted it I can tell you that the plastic face comes off with a little persuasion but don't force it. And make sure the hands of the clock are far away from where you are going to paint as they can go a bit squiffy otherwise.

I used felt tips on mine, I mean dts clock! Stickers too, got a bit carried away!

Soupdragon, I really need to go to IKEA in Croydon. Is there ever a good time. By that I mean is it ever not too busy?

Opening time during the week is good. As I said, I get there for free coffee/cheap breakfast at 9:30 and can be round the store and out by 10:30.
