Yes, although 3 points may not mean a change in how much you pay. DH got 3 points and it didn't cost him any more luckily.

Yes (I got caught 2weeks ago- there goes my 16 year old clean licence Sad) but DH has been told by his work colleagues that an sp30 doesn't affect premiums too much.

petunia, snap, I was livid with myself last year to get 3 points after 18 years. Angry Informed insce company and they noted their records, but no hike in premiums.

change to premium depends on the type of speeding i think, something to do with the code attached, like SP30 SP60 etc...some are 'worse' than others and so can cause premiums to go up...but i don't actually know which ones! Sorry
