As some of you know Ive been sitting with my friend as she learns to drive - actually its just to practice her maneovres now as she's been driving for hte past year. Anyway its her 4th test on Thursday which I am taking her for in order to save her money. her dh has just got his licence back after an 18 month ban for DD. He drives a Jaguar, she drives her own small hatchback. Anyway this morning we were just talking and I asked how much he paid for his insurance now. She said the car is insured in her name with him as named driver. She doesnt know whose name her hatchback is insured in. So my question is can a learner driver have their own insurance policy?
