Technical people - why does Internet Explorere keep having problems???

I use Internet Explorer over the last few days I keep getting messages that "Internet Exlporer has encountered a problem" and I can report it - I usually do. Anyone any ideas why this is suddenly happeneing??? It's happeneing every time I am on-line and driving me a bit mad!

Had trouble yesterday afternoon/early evening but turned off and rebooted pc and box and it was fine. Also found Google was really slow yesterday.

Do a virus and spyware check, IE is individual to your PC. It is possible that you are accessing sites that use java or other add-ins and they are causing an interaction problem but it is more likely to be a problem on your machine.

I recommend switching to Firefox: I have far fewer problems with it than I used to have with IE

IE keeps having problems because it sucks. Switch to Firefox!

What's Firefox and how do I get it????
