DS returns home from CM. DP goes to change nappy and finds a pair of girls (size 7-8) pair of knickers on him. WTF are they doing there? While he is now getting quite skilled at removing trousers he wouldn't be able to put them back on. There are other children there. Her daughter will fit the pants IYSWIM. I don't quite know whether to find it hysterical or be a little bit worried really!

so were pants on top of nappy or instead of?

utterlyconfused · 08/06/2006 22:03

hmmm...

Flossam · 08/06/2006 22:05

on top of!

I'd be amused. Assuming CM's dd put them on.

sassy · 08/06/2006 22:09

You'd be surprised Flossam!

dd2 managed to put on (and strut about delightedly in) one of dd1's friends pants over her nappy today. He was in our paddling pool in trunks, BTW, hence his pants were on our grass.

The little boy in qiestion was mortified when he saw what she'd done!

sassy · 08/06/2006 22:09

DD2 is 16mo, BTW.

glasgowgal · 08/06/2006 22:09

ASk tomorrow. I am sure there will be a perfectly reasonable answer(mabe nappy kept slipping down if he wasn't wearing a vest in hot weather and she put them on to hold it up).

Flossam · 08/06/2006 22:13

But even if he had managed to put knickers on, to put trousers on too? Over shoes? No way! Grin

He's not back there untill Monday, will be intruged untill then I suppose.

Flossam · 08/06/2006 22:14

btw, he never wears a vest nappies are sainsburies active fit type.

Maybe...

It was so hot in her house, that the cm decided to let him have bare legs,. but didn't feel right just leaving him in a nappy, so put the first thing that came to hand over the top.

then got him dressed in a hurry and forgot to take them off.

Flossam · 09/06/2006 16:41

thanks for the suggestion colditz!!! how is a pair of knickers over a nappy more decent than just a nappy though? Wink

meowmix · 09/06/2006 16:50

less potential for leaks maybe?

how very odd!

NewLP · 09/06/2006 16:55

Couldn’t you ring her and ask her?
Maybe save her or some other child’s parent wondering all weekend what happen to their DD’s pants.

joelalie · 09/06/2006 17:39

OK....maybe I'n being very innocent here but how is it worrying? Odd maybe, but not worrying.

ggglimpopo · 09/06/2006 17:41

My dd (17 months) has just figured out how to undo her nappy. Maybe the cm put the knickers on him to stop him fiddling with the nappy?

KommandantColditz · 13/06/2006 00:14

well?
