I tried on some jeans in Topshop the other day and they did look fairly nice apart from being gyanecologically low cut. Which is not a good look on a person who has been pregnant twice, quite apart from matters of being past it.

Yikes, those sort of jeans were memorably once described on TVGoHome as something like "so low-slung her clitoris was peeking out over the top"

When I worked in Dorothy Perkins, a woman got stuck in a blouse, she got it stuck in a really strange position, half an arm and most of her head were stuck...I had to go in and help her out of the top, to cover her embarrassment the woman ranted and raved about how crap the top was. I ended up having to demonstrate how to safely remove the top. She was so rude about it though, wasn't like I made the clothes I just worked there.....

This reminds of shopping for a dress in very posh boutique for my brothers wedding with 5 wk old and 2 yo in tow -

i took ds2 to shops to get an outfit for my friends' wedding at weekend.
He yelled and wrigled so i let him out of buggy in cubicle in m and s (i know) and he dicided to play bOO with the curtain whilst i was trying to get my fat bum into a skirt and get my nork intoma top...agh, the shame

Pinot mum - my friend aged 37 was looking for a wedding dress last year ( her first time) and got asked if she was the mother of the bride!!!

oh and i went with my ds2 when he was tiny to be measured for feeding bra at john lewis.
dh came too and had ds1 in pushcahir and ds2 in sling.
i waited in line with 4 skinny teenagers with bloody fried eggs..and when i got to be measured I was leaking and dh just appeared with a screaming baby, so it got worse
so then i had to feed ds2 and they wanted me to get breast pads before they would let me try anything on (fair enough)

so the whole thing took about 3hrs!! ds1 was less than impressed and kept pulling all of the sdresses off the hangers as he swept past in the buggy.
