chonky · 08/06/2006 12:07

it's poisonous isn't it (definitely is for horses)?

WigWamBam · 08/06/2006 12:08

Ragwort? I wouldn't want it in my garden, let alone pay for it to have in my house!

ggglimpopo · 08/06/2006 13:38

Crazy, isn't it?

I'm told you can buy organic dandelions at New Covent Garden for an exorbitant price. A local garden centre was selling indigenous wild flowers (buttercups, forget-me-nots, wood avens and various other weeds) for £2.50 each. And I grow all of these plants in my garden without even trying. Clearly I'm missing a trick. Was the market stall doing good business, ggglimpopo?

Ragwort has its virtues btw - \link{http://www.arkive.org/species/ARK/invertebrates_terrestrial_and_freshwater/Tyria_jacobaeae/\look what eats it}.
