Objecting to a mobile phone mast

I've had a letter notifying me of a planning application for a mobile phone mast about 400m from my house. I want to object to it (a) because it's going to be 12m tall with antennae and a dish on top and (b) health reasons (lots of children in the area)

Any suggestions of what to say? Where to find health information?

Ta.

Tried to stop orange doing it in our area on a piece of land owned by the water company. Couldnt stop it as in reality unless you live within 3m of it apparently it doesnt do any harm. Looked up lots of websites which just confused me in the end some for and some against. Its one of these grey areas that the government claim to of done research on and feel that it isnt a problem to live with. I did object along with others on the basis of health and eyesore to the natural surroundings but blatantly ignored and they go the go ahead. Dont hold much hope for you but good luck.
