Can someone please give me a quick lesson in Paypal

I have it set up and want to purchase something on ebay, but I am maxed out on my credit card and want to know if I can use my debit card with paypal.

How does it work when I go to buy something, do I just give the card no and then it gets taken out?

Am about to lose my ebay virginity, I'm scared

Yup - just type in the debit card number where it says "add new source for funds" (or something like that) Takes the money out of your account like it would normally.

The money goes from your paypal account straight away but not from your bank account for 3 days (like a normal switch type transaction)

so what happens if I never recieve the goods? (although unlikely as this person runs a business and has 100% record)

you complain to ebay and paypal, they investigate and, ifg they find in your favour, refund your money.
