M&S have a pair I am wearing which are pretty good.

The are slip ons with about1"& a quarter heel, with a toe toe post and 3 straps effect and further cross strap towards where arch (describing shoes not a strong point:)). Cost circa £20 or £25 I was in a hurry when buying them as had kids in tow, you know how the shopping story goes.

But very comfortable, although maybe not good walking on grass as has a kitten type heel so would sink in.

What about a pair of wedges? There's loads about at the moment and not so wobbly as an actual heel

I got some Hush puppies toe-post mules with a wedge heel - about £40 IIRC. I bought them in Shoe Express I think.
The first time I wore them they were quite comfy to stand around but a bit tricky to walk in (although I never wear anything higher than about an inch so not the best person to jusge Wink) but wore them the second time last Fri to a wedding and they were great all day!
Can't find them on their website though but you could have a look \link{http://www.hushpuppies.com/Shop/Gallery.aspx?GNavID=G-W&NavID=G-W-SAN\here}
Goos luck Smile
