Botox or Collagenics

Has anyone has Botox carried out.

Brief history - I took my mum to the beauty salon and they are now offering a new service called Collagenics. It is a non-form of surgical face lift (bit like CACI). I am really really interested in having this done.

I am 39 next Friday so it is my big 4 0 next year. Lately I have started to feel (and look) my age. Didn't help in that I went out about 3 weeks ago with my boyfriend, we were talking about ages, and one of his (girl) friends thought I was 43. Forty f**king three. I was flabbergasted as I don't think I looked that old. I know 43 is not old, but when your boyfriend is only 35 (although it is also his birthday next week, Saturday) for people to think that I am "so" much older is a bit upsetting for me.

I asked the girl who did my mum's eyebrow shape about Collagenics and she said that she had had it done. Although she is younger than me, looks about 30, it looked fantastic. She said that it is the English form of Botox but they cannot call it Boxox in England. I always seem to be frowning and would love my frown lines to be paralysed so I cannot frown. I would also like the lines beside my face to be "infilled".

I will try and put a picture under profiles taken in work a few months ago and I would like your honest opinions. I am not looking for harsh words/compliments, just an honest opinion if (1) you have had it done and (2) would it benefit me.

Yes me - on sunday!!!!!
Not really sure why I did it - a friend told me she'd had it done and straight away I was interested - not that I think I look dreadful but I'm 9 months out of pregnancy - so JUST back to an ok weight - proir to pregnancy I had 2 solid years of ivf so felt fat and tried and grey and hormonal non stop - so I just decided it was a ''me'' treat - I'm 42 by the way.

In between deciding to do it and actually having it done I was very close to chickening out - really unsure why I was doing it - but now, 2 days later I can really begin to see it working and actually I'm very pleased already with the difference - altho it's still early days as it takes time to work properly.
I'm off to see if I can see your picture anywhere!!!
