... I mean, it's easy to see how you can get all muddled up between battleship and strategic weapons, isn't it?

It's rather unnessassary (sp?) to bring his kids into it IMO. Bit uncalled for to call his daughter a whale, and what 17 year old hasn't passed out drunk FFS?

FairyMum · 05/02/2004 13:17

His daughter is a 'whale'? Hello?

yeah, but don't you think her parents were a bit unkind to let her pose for that family pic at Christmas in the most unflattering position straight onto camera with legs tucked backwards under chair? After all Cherie was very careful with her pose (I'm not exactly slender and after seeing unflattering pics now take great care to turn slightly and stretch my legs out)!

I agree eddm. Both dh and I said "what on earth are they thinking of?" Felt quite sorry for her.

And actually I think Blair is fair game for anything. he doesn't give a sh** about the problems that affect my son (yes I have contacted him). He's interested in himself.

I wait with interest to see how he's going to slime his way out of this latest revelation. (Sack Geoff/Jeff(?) Hoon I suspect).

this is one of the things I love about mumsnet - poeple can have a firm discussion about what has been said and stay friends... the last message board I used to frequent used to have all manner of flouncing off and tantrums when one poster dared to disagree with another

I don't think it's fair to comment on a 17-year-old girls weight, no matter who her father is. Very cruel!

Stressyhead I agree with you honestly. I think he would be kinder to all his children if he kept them totally out of the public eye. Obviously by putting his daughter into the public eye her weight is going to be commented on - rightly or wrongly (and I agree its wrong)- which is why I feel it must be very hard for her. 17 is a difficult age anyway.

As for other family matters- I'm not convinced that it is my business to know whether leo had his MMR or not (and you probably know how I feel about the MMR). TBH I don't really care whether he did or not. it would be nice if TB "caring family man" (my arse) took time to care about other families affected by his policies though. I don't think he does- becuase he is 100% convinced that he is right always. Scary, scary man. It's what got him into his current mess. We must go to war we must go to war- lets advertise it We must vaccinate all the children we must vaccinate all the children- quick advertise it- get me some lions and get me a baby.

Which planet?
