please help - do not want to upset lovely MIL by telling her I have managed to lose gorgeous hat she sent for dd2 to wear.

Do you know where it was from? Are you sure it wasn't Sainsbos or Tesco, they've got fab childrens hats atm

think is was next/M&S - mother in law sent clothes with it and they were from those two stores... so I am guessing she got it from there - where she tends to shop...

I've just looked on Next and M&S and couldn't find it. I wonder if it is from Sainsbury's, it's very similar to one we bought there for dd last summer, but ours was in paler pink

ohh maybe it was - I did a search online and couldn't find it either - thanks so much for trying to help... really don't want to ask MIL unless it is a last resort - really feel so bad about it.

eidsvold - Gap do them with the chin strap but not sure if its one of their designs or not. It loooks like a pumpkin patch type too.

I think I may have found it...I wish the icture was still here so that I could confirm without getting your hopes up. Could it have been from Gymboree? There is no photo of the hat online but I will try to post a picture of the socks from the same collection in MP.

Did the hat have fruit on it?
