A good driving instructor in West London?

Hi there

I am nearly 40 and ashamedly don't drive Blush. I passed my test at 17 and never really drove after that as I lost my confidence after making a few really silly driving errors and had unsupportive family and boyfriend. In my early 30s I decided I should drive again and I bought a small car and for the next decade (up until now) I've driven only around my small area (I live in London) and was too afraid to venture out further. I am a jumpy driver and cannot even imagine the day I go across town or God forbid, go on a motorway! However I find this situation so frustrating (as does my DH!) and I feel that my quality of life would improve so much if I drove, and I also owe it to my children to be able to take them around a bit more.

Does anyone know of a really good and patient driving instructor in West London who can teach an old dog new tricks?!!! I am in West London and oh yes, only drive automatic!
