We do a kitty each school year and we have enough money left this year to spend about £35 on a gift for a child who is leaving (end of yr 3).
Any suggestions please or do you think if it was your child, you would like the class reps to have asked you for ideas as to what to buy your DD?

TIA

A photo montage of all the classmates with personal messages from each. Maybe "what I will remember about you" or something.

A bear factory with recorded voice saying we,ll miss you

My DS had a big card with a message from each child. There are photos all over it and he looks at it often. It was a lovely surprise and more meaningful than a gift. We weren't expecting anything at all.

thanks guys. They all sound like good ideas. My DS had a lovely booklet from all his class mates when he left mid school year with indivual messages but the teacher organised it. I'm not sure if we've got enough time to put something like that together but i'm certainly going to mention it to my fellow class reps tomorrow.
I like the idea of the Build a bear with the 'miss you' message if not. Smile
thank you

The card is a brilliant idea and doesnt need to cost much. What about spending it on some food and treats for an end of term goodbye party?
