I have recently brought a house and the previous owner left some beautiful curtains in each room each apparently costing a few grand each. They also include roman blinds! Very nice.Iv managed to stupidly get a small blob of blue paint on cream curtains.
Any advice on how I can get this off?

go over it with cream paint

mum2oliver · 22/05/2006 21:31

Ok. I did think of that but is there no other way do you think to get it out?

Not really

You could try steaming it

Your best bet is to cut out the affected part and patch over with a bit of fabric from the hem

bad luck

The Queen of Clean says you have to deal with it before it dries. Sorry Sad

If it is still wet then she suggests paint thinner or tipex thinner.

Had a thought. Where is the paint? Is it more to one side than the other?

Could you swap the curtains round so it is less noticeable?

Take it too a dry cleanes they can do invisible mending - my mum had it done and it was fine

Or sew a flower over it

Isn't there a stain devil for gloss paint?
