Are you a Tampon Virgin?

I seen the other thread and realised id never used a tampon ever only sanitary towels. Even my dh thought i was a bit weird when he started going out with me as his exes used tampons. I dont know if its weird or not. I know it sounds daft but ive always been scared to use them in case they got stuck or i got that toxic shock thing. I know thats stupid but im still to scared to!

can't stand them so only use them if I have to go swimming

I've never succesfully used one - it makes me feel really weird trying to put one in and so I never have.

My friends at uni were so had a session where I sat outside the loo and they kept trying til they got it right!
I am the opposite and had never used a towel until after my first birth.
By the way non applicator ones are much nicer to put in...
