40th birthday presents for dh

I was going to get him an old Rolex but I think his dad is leaving him his so maybe not

Anyone got any ideas?

oh am regular but didn't want him to see this..

An 'experience' of some kind? 4x4 driving/quad bike/golf/flying an aircraft etc etc? What is he into?

Mine was 40 in Feb and I arranged a surprise party.. all his family came down from 'Ooop North' for what he thought was just a meal with a few friends.

I am taking my dp to newyork next month for his 40th as a surprise!

i got mine a whizzy bike (which he chose), an ipod & a coffee maker that i wanted.... oh, & we all went to sicily for the week.
