Is it really such a good idea to be sending credit card number, including security code through the post along with your driving licence????

ratehr htan ringing up somwhere?

charliecat · 21/05/2006 12:11

cant ring it up as they have to put points on the licence.
If you mean ringing a company up, well, at least you will know which copany had used your CC details. Putting it in the post is leaving i wide open for everyone/anyone is it not?
They want the security code on the back written down. I thought that was to verify you had it in your hand.

JanH · 22/05/2006 12:34

You have to send your license in to have the points added, custy.

You've never had a speeding ticket then? Shock

Tortington · 22/05/2006 12:37

no i meant pay the fine. i had one not too long ago - cant remember how i payed becuase we dont have cheque books.

ihave had many speeding tickets - i am ashamed of my boyracering tendencies.

took my licence - paper 100 years old ripped creased generally sad - wrong address from 10 years ago - they sent if off and said they will require you to get a new licence (they said at the police station) and they send it back - stapled together :)
