Please help if you can - My computer won't read the memory stick - how can I recover my data?

Huge problem, please help if you can. I have loads of oork on a memory stick. Two different computers can't read the memory stick at all. I really need that data. I have some back-ups but v out of date. Anything I can do? Thanks.

Are you plugging the memory stick directly into the computer usb ? If it is going into a hub then try directly into the pooter.

Thanks, I'll see if I can find anywhere else to plug it in. I've tried on both my big computer and the laptop, so it's likely the problem really is with the memory stick. Thanks for replying.
