So seven years have gone by
My doesn't time really fly!

It seems like it was just yesterday
When I gave my freedom away

Still, I guess it's not all that bad
No, some of it is downright sad!
(What was I thinking!)

But this little thing I wanted to say
To remind us both of that special day
(No wonder I started drinking)

I remember the way you looked
As if you were truly fucked!
(I should have headed for the door!)

But the way I felt for you was true
Through thick and thin I said I'd see you through.
(And I love you all the more!)

The ending is a bit soppy, maybe I should change it to a more cynical and black ending?

Good thing is dh's parents coming to visit for a weekend, dd is VERY chuffed!
Dh has no work again.
