Did it rain on you today?

I was driving home through glorious sunny Lancs countryside with lambs, bluebells etc at about 5pm listening to R2 and Chris Evans asked "is it raining where you are?" and got texts from Taunton and Birmingham and somewhere in Scotland and all over the place - it's still lovely here so I was just wondering...

It was p'ing it down in Eastleigh (Hampshire) I there the biggest bank of thinder I have ever heard!!

JanH - it's been scorching here all day (Glasgow) then we had a teensy weensy thunder shower at about 7pm. It's all fine now though!

No rain here in Sheffield. Was lovely and we were sat outside int he garden till nearly half past 7. DD had her first BBQ, as we have never had a garden to have one in before! At around 6:45pm there was a tiny bit of rain in the aiir but it didn't come to anything.

I must add that it was sunny up til about 4pm and then it chucked it down just before the thunder storm!

Absolute torrential downpour with mega loud thunderstorm between 3 and 4 ish - when the schools tipped out :o

Ds is home sick so we enjoyed it in the dry! He he he

Actually the BBC did say the heat would cause scattered thunderstorms so I am just being picky.
