Ditched my ISP, but still get emails forwarded from them. How?

I changed to a better ISP recently, but still get odd emails addressed to my old address, (not just spam).

How is this happening and how can I stop it, as I don't want them to keep charging me.
Ta.

We ditched our old ISP 18 months ago and still get emails for the address, but we have never been charged by them. You need to contact your old ISP to see if the email forwarding is a chargeable service. Only the ISP can stop it unless you have software that blocks the address, but then it won't stop them sending it. But like I said they may not be charging you anyway. Have you been in contact with them?

Thanx pie, No, I haven't yet (my To Do list is overflowing, it's boring and I'd rather be on mumsnet)
