Mine? (and I know I'm lucky, they are lightweight)

  1. I hope our tent sells on ebay - finishes Sunday.
  1. I want to stick to my points all week and have lost something significant at my WeightWatchers weigh-in next Tuesday (ideally I want to lose another 6lbs before we go on holiday...mmmmmm)
  1. I hope we have brilliant weather at half-term because we're having a week in a caravan in Cornwall.

How can we still have mice when every bit of food is now in tupperware

Shall I put up with my new mobile not being what the salesbitch in the shop said it was or shall I face the major palaver of taking it back.

Please let it be sunny this weekend so I can wear a skirt next week without having to resort to oompaloompa fake tan.

hunkermunker · 13/05/2006 00:01

Essbee, please don't send her to school.

Slapped cheek isn't usually harmful to children, but if adults get it, it can be very, very serious. And it's not good for pregnant women to get it either.

essbee · 13/05/2006 00:03

It wasn't exactly on purpose, for a couple of days she's had red cheeks, i've just checked on her and she now has the telltale rash too. I should have listened to my instincts. I should google it now, I ca n't remember how long it's infectious for.

hunkermunker · 13/05/2006 00:07

Hope she's over it soon - did think it wasn't like you to send a sick child to school! It's a bit of a thing for me, I'm afraid - I had it when I was 22 and I was crippled by it, literally. Children don't get the symptoms I had though, except in ten million to one cases, so please don't worry.

essbee · 13/05/2006 00:08

That sounds awful! I must admit I was n't overly concerned, ds had it when he was just 1 and was absolutely fine. Started sep thread now.

Tortington · 13/05/2006 00:20

how loooooooooooooooong will today be, with DP away till some point this afternoon

can I get through today without shouting at the Inferiorettes and is it permissible to substitute telly for shouting or is that actually a worse?

Twiglett · 13/05/2006 09:27
  1. Thank god the moo has stopped puking
  2. Should we have a picnic after football?
  3. Is Moo's puking yesterday adequate excuse to avoid party at the Pirate Gym this afternoon
Wordsmith · 13/05/2006 09:31

Shall I leave my husband.

  1. Feeling very virtuous as we managed to get up, breakfasted and out the door by 8.30 to get to ds's football so feel justified in doing nothing but watching football/cricket on TV for the rest of today!
  1. Will it rain on the Chelsea parade tomorrow and where should I park the car for it?
  1. Am I getting another migraine or is it just bad hayfever?
beansprout · 13/05/2006 12:38
  1. How much longer will lunch be? (dh is cooking it)
  1. Am I doing the right thing by working another day each week for a while to cover a staff shortage?
  1. When will I lose this last bit of weight (see point one) Blush

  1. I must do at least 2 tapes today to be on track to meet Monday deadline for work
  2. I need a wee
  3. We are signing contracts on Monday so must sort out swapping over bank accounts and direct debits
PiccadillyCircus · 13/05/2006 15:48

Why are nearly all my days spent tidying, and is is always still messy?

Hooray - empty bottles have gone out of the house.

Does it really matter that DS is watching rather a lot of CBeebies/Brum today?
