getting house extended and done out top to bottom this summer (not looking forward to the mess and having to move out for a short while) we are getting double glazing and I ain't looking forward to that either (salespeople who i can't get rid of etc etc) was thinking about safestyle with the bogof offer. How much of mess is it getting double glazing

didn't find it too much of a mess but just a word of caution on two things:-
be careful, should the company go bust, your guarantee is difficult to enforce should you have any probs. Also, do not go to their premises and sign a contract for the goods, you hve no cooling off period. It is called 'on trade' and you are committed! These were two of our major mistakes. It wouldn't have been a problem but two days after we signed up DH was made redundant and we couldn't afford the double glazing, but were informed we had to go ahead for the reasons I have said above. Good luck

Someone had a thread re Safestyle last week . I'm currently looking for a quote fro ours (we're moving so just for costing purposes) and will avoid them based upon tales of hard sell !
