Car recommendations for 3 car seats...

We're expecting number 3 at the end of the year and were talking about reducing the 2 cars down to one anyway. We will have a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old as well as the newborn.

One of my requirements is high doors so that I can get the baby and youngest in and out without too much bending. My back can be dodgy.

I like the look of the VW Touran and we hired a Fiat Multipla on holiday last year and were really impressed with it.

Anyone care to share their experiences?

actually also on the picasso, all the kids can walk through it to their seat iyswim - ie they can all get in/out on the pavement side (as long as they get in in the right order lol! DD is in the middle and always tries to get in first!) which is much safer. This was never possible in our Toyota so it's an unexpected boon.

An update - if anyone cares ....

...we have just bought a Multipla and initial drives in it have been fantastic.

I am actually quite excited about it in a way I haven't been before about a new car The children love it and we can upgrade them to the newly reported supersafe Isofix seats too!

Anyone have experience of fitting 3 car seats in an Audi A6 estate or a mercedes estate (or any other estate car - Volvo etc)? Baby no. 3 is on the way and we're keener on estate cars than MPVs. Any tips welcome!
