Fitting a car CD player?

Can anyone describe how it's done?

I have a sneaking suspicion that it's something I could manage if I just knew how (and therefore a sneaking suspicion that it'd be daft to pay someone else to do it!)

its really easy once you get the old one out. its basicly a load of wires that have mini plugs on the end. if you watch where you take them out of the old one and just put them back into teh corresponding holes on the new one.

the hardest part is getting the old one out. i have still got teh factory fitted stereo in my car despite having the super dooper cd player from my old one waiting to be put in..i refuse to pay to get it done as i can do it myself...i just cant get the bloody thing out!

oh but if you buy your cd player from halfords they will fit it for you free anyway.

Thanks fm, I suppose the worst that could happen is that I'd bodge it then have to pay someone else to do it... and I'd rather try first!
