SWALLOWING PENNIES?!!!

My dd's grandma gave her a small purse with some pennies in it to play with. I am not sure how many pennies there were and have become very paranoid that she may have swallowed one. Is it possible for a 2yr old to swallow a penny without any problems? Her stools have turned green but I wasn't sure if that's because she's been unwell.

my DS2 swallowed a penny when he was about 3. He had the runs the following day although I didn't hear the penny come out - he's convinced it's still there.

It was an old remedy for stomach upsets, swallowing pennies.
Had to be drunk with gin or brandy though
