I know it makes me middle aged but I've bought Good Housekeeping TWICE now and I quite like it!

The first one was because there was a cover promising great storage ideas and we've just moved and this second one with 50 ways to look younger and the truth about women and work is enjoyable so far, I've been reading it while waiting for threads to open since I'm on dial up until tomorrow. Anyway, just thought I'd get it off my chest!

I don't think it's middle aged,I've been reading it on and off for years.I am an ancient 43yrs but I don't read Womens Realm or Family Circle!

Yorkiegirl · 07/05/2006 22:45

I quite like it too.
Hate stoopid fashion mags with a vengeance so this keeps me more interested.

jamiesam · 07/05/2006 22:48

ah, confessional. Me too, dh bought me GH sub for my last birthday.

However, I used to enjoy reading MIL's Womens Realm 10 years ago.

I am a very old 38!

GDG · 07/05/2006 23:03

oh me too - it's good! I'm only 33. However, I'm quite into Eve atm - it has more good fashion in it.

MumToH · 07/05/2006 23:15

Not tried that but I'm a secret Family Circle subscriber, aged 40, but have read it for about 10 years. Never admit it to anyone though Blush, I think it's the name it sounds so naff! However, it's brilliant, would thoroughly recommend it.

It's worth checking the free trials etc \link{http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=182314&highlight=subscriptions\here} if you fancy trying different magazines, I've had a few trials and some mags that I wouldn't normally buy were actually quite good! - wouldn't pay full price though, I do like it when they come through the post Grin

Bah! Get 'Good Food'. It's way better.

I quite fancy 'Easy Living', for some reason. I'll see how long that lasts, though.

I have a secret Good Housekeeping habit too, when I can get hold of it.
