I was just going shopping, and had just parked the car, and was about to get the children out, when a woman shot out of the shop clutching piles of stock, leapt in a car driven by a man, and they drove off at top speed!!! I managed to get the number and gave it to the shop staff, and am now riding a bit of an adrenaline high! I was so suprised I forgot to do my shopping!

Well done for getting the number, musica. Glad none of you were hurt in the melee. We had an armed robbery in which a policeman was stabbed (not too badly, thank goodness) take place next door to our mother and baby group last Autumn. We were all singing Peter and James and John in a Sailboat tunefully at the back of the building while there was absolute mayhem right outside.

Crumbs!!!

I remember I was out shopping once and I kept seeing this bloke walking around - he looked a bit shifty so I kept an eye on him. I watched him shove Pizza's and and other frozen items into a rucksack. I told the secruity man and he said there was nothing he could do as he hadn't seen it with his own eyes!!! I was gobsmacked and asked him if I could also go and help myself when he wasn't looking???

HOE exciting - waws the pc dishy?

I once was outside a Halfords (in Sutton OCldfield) and witnessed the shop assistant come outside, tell his mates where the pressure washers were and then watch them nick them.

When the Police came I said "I dont know why that bloke is chasing them, he knows them!

Good for you, Musica! We saw the aftermath of a robbery in a shoe shop at New Year. A woman nearly knocked me and dil over, hurtling out of a shop. It turned out she was the victim, chasing a thief who'd stolen her bag while she was trying on shoes. She was incredibly upset, I did feel sorry for her, as presumably her car/house keys and everything were in it. The police came quickly, at least.
