I know how to make a buget plan now but how do I action it

We are in a bit of a state now with more outgoing than are coming in.I have looked all afternoon at websites with budget planners so will fill one in over the next couple of days.Where do I go from there?

Any money saving tips would be a great help too please help.Both of us are not money minded and need a guide.

I am e baying stuff from our home to cover the holiday now.Agree that i don't want to put the e bay money to the credit card.I suppose the money we would have spent on the holiday can go on that.We have a caravan on a very cheap site thank goodness so at least we can still have a family holiday this year.

Dose eveyone have britsih Gas contracts and insurance for everything like washing machines e.c.t

Would have a something for my boiler/fire /heating packing up if I owned my home, I dont I rent. Have no insurance for washing machine/whatever as I can IF NEEDBE borrow from my mum and pay her back at ten quid a week.

I recently went through our finances to see where we could save money.
We fixed our mortgage rate which saved us £200 a month.
We cut our phone bills down by using 1899.
We changed our gas and electricity supplier.
Started budgeting on food and use the slow cooker more.

When we got into problems I to did a budget planner and we kept all recieptsfor every little buy, even the tube of polo's. It's amazing how the little things add up.
