GRASS STAINS - how do you get them out?

Now DS has discovered the garden, I have discovered the delights of grass stains.

What's the best way to get them out?

(Unfortunately I just washed a pair of his jeans with ginormous knee pad sized grass stains and it just seems to have set the stain in Sad)

try rubbing neat washing up liquid into it..rub really hard!
then leave on a warm radiator/in an airing cupboard etc for a few hours and put through wash as normal.

I learned this one after slipping on my ass and sliding a few metres dwn a grassy hill in the park..lol

thought i'd ruined my pale grey dress forever but this worked!

oh and if ds's skin isn't too sensitive forit 'ariel biological powder' is the best for getting grass stains out...

Oxi-Clean spray (not the powder) seems to shift just about anything, and doesn't affect sensitive skin.

All stain-removers work better on stains that haven't yet been through the wash, but Oxiclean is best one I've used for shifting older stains, so it might work on washed-in grass stains.

I have discovered 2 pairs of jeans with new grass stains.
I shall try both methods as a sort of "clinical trial" - thanks both so much Smile
