Mooncup advice please

Having just purchased my mooncup I am having problems, ahem...I seem to be able to get it in ok and it seems to be in 'far enough' so to speak, but after a few minutes it feels as if it almost slipping down. Does anyone have any tips as it feels uncomfortable ? I have trimmed the stem already. Any advice please ?

have you tried inserting it a little further up?

It seems as if it is far enough in, but maybe it isn't. I'll have another practice later. Fiddly thing isn't it ? It's like inserting one of those pop up tents, you let go and it just all pings into shape - most alarming !

lol @ pop-up tent Grin. Don't have one myself, but seem to remember someone recommending having a go putting it in before your AF, so you have a bit of practice (may be too late for that...).

PMSL! I got my mooncup a couple of months ago so am fairly new to it myself. Pop up tent is an excellent description! They can be a little tricky to start with, especially when it is all slippery Wink. One of the first times it 'pinged' out of my hand and shot across the room Shock Grin

I don't have one (and never will), but I did read on one of the other numerous mooncup threads, that once it's in place you should give it a twist to ensure it's errrmmmm locked in position...???

lol at pinging across the room. Will just have to keep practicing. I am determined to make it work. Have gone right off tampons since giving birth.
