Stinking washing machine- help me find the thread!!

A few months back there was a thread on here about how to sort out a smelly washing machine but i cant find it!
can anyone help me or post any solutions on here as i can never find anything on here- duh!

cup of white vinegar in the drum, then a 90 degree wash

replacing the seal often helps too..as they can sometimes get mildewy underneath..

Funnily enough I had that very thread saved in my "Threads I'm Watching". It has been cleared of messages.... little wonder you couldn't find it!!

stop liquid detergent and use powder (if you use liquid)

do a few hot washes to clean out the pipes
