Oh I so wish the Grundy boys would kill each other sooner rather than later

It's just annoying me so much.

And Tom Archer and his bloody sausages and Brenda - FFS, isn't it time for a siege and a wipe out of characters in the Archers? I vote that Alistair should run amok in a gambling frenzy and kill Matt then everyone else except Lilian.

Ah, I thought Lillian bought the Bull partnership with her own money (I heard the episode with the hush hush meeting about it, as well as the one where she brought costumes for Sid and Joleen, arf).

Puddle, I usually listen on a Sunday morning, if I can. I may institute it as Mummy Time that no one is allowed to interrupt.

suejonez · 08/05/2006 16:02

Ooh, I must have missed that bit, (Lilian buying with her own money) I too listen to the omnibus but have a tendancy to miss the odd 5 mins here and there.

quanglewangle · 08/05/2006 18:37

OK, a bit of a rash comment. I would certainly immumise Lillian against bird flu, probably Matt and also Sid, Kathy, Joleene and Fallon (however you spell that lot). The only ones to drive me dotty are Shula, Emma and Susan. Don't like Peggy either but she has her uses.
I would also spare Ruth and Sam as they get one rather well - maybe they will get together...... That would make interesting listening. Grin

Hallgerda · 08/05/2006 20:37

quanglewangle, since reading your first bird flu post I have been haunted by an image of a Hamlet-like ending to TA, with the Horatio role taken by one of Eddie's wolf-whistling gnomes.

Caligula · 08/05/2006 20:38

D'you think the insufferable Ruth will have an affair with Sam and utterly dash Kirsty's faith in men forever?

That would be a good storyline

pmsl hallgerda Grin

caligula, I hope so. They were awfully cosy in the cow sheds the other day. She doesn't giggle with David like that. Wink

JanH · 08/05/2006 22:47

I think Al must have played double or quits on a few hands - the mug.

suejonez · 08/05/2006 23:18

Glad someone else has spotted the Ruth/Sam possibilites, thought I was being perverted, though I'm not sure I can cope with that particular mix of accents...

joelalie · 09/05/2006 08:07

No. The Sam Ruth thing can't happen. It's too obvious - I thought he and she might have a little cow-shed action when he first turned up. Too late now.

quanglewangle · 09/05/2006 08:34

Ooops, I nearly forgot Helen. Pleeese let me get rid of Helen. In fact she can be the one to give bird flu to the poor turkeys.
I'll even let the others stay if Helen can go.

Caligula · 09/05/2006 09:08

Grin pmsl at cow-shed action!

suejonez · 09/05/2006 11:24

I've hardly noticed Helen recently - is she still alive?

quanglewangle · 09/05/2006 11:56

I think Helen is still with us, suejonez. That's why I had forgotten her, we have been spared her whinging and self-centredness for a wile now, long may it last. Can't understand why Pat can't see through her.

At this stage, someone needs to remind me that it isn't real Grin

suejonez · 09/05/2006 12:02

It isn't real? Shock

quanglewangle · 09/05/2006 12:23

My dh pours scorn and snobbery on TA, yet he seems to know all the characters and asks me to clarify the plot (if that isn't too strong a term) occasionally.
So I guess it must be real.

suejonez · 09/05/2006 13:55

"My dh pours scorn and snobbery on TA" - is that not grounds for divorce? Unreasonable behaviour? Or is he trying to distract you from his closet TA obsession?

quanglewangle · 09/05/2006 15:18

Good grief Sue, you are right!! And I wondered how I was going to get rid of him. No court will argue with that Grin
