Knew I hated digital for a very good reason. It's something to do with teh ITV channels broadcasting at teh end of teh signal range thingy.

Anyway, what do we do? It's a bag of laughs in teh Tinker household atm, need ITV to drown out moron next door.

Our picture breaks up and sticks sometimes, Is that the sort of thing you mean

Tinker · 04/05/2006 16:20

That's it. Breaks up, freezes, mostly unwatchable.

The wonders of the digital system.

Although we are all soon to be doomed to no other choice than digital, the weather can cause interference far more than it does with analogue.

Piggiesmum · 04/05/2006 18:01

Ours doesn't sound as bad as yours. It's not unwatchable but you can guarantee it will happen at a crucial time in the dialogue/plot. Grrrrrr.

Was trying to sell the idea of a digital box to my mum and we couldn't come up with one reason why she'd want/need one. Grr at those damn BBC ads for it.

Everyone will need some sort of digitial receiver equipment within the next 6 years if they want to carry on watching tv.

You really need two sets of equipment or a dual tuner if you ever want to watch one channel whilst recording another. I notice they never mention that bit.

I know SG. And one for each telly, I think, which they omit to tell you as well.
