I have just had my eyebrows waxed and the woman was going to do some threading to see if I liked it BUT she said it can be a bit painful.

Waxing doesn't bother me so not a wuss!

She is indian and has done threading since she was 12 so knows what she is doing.

Said it was good for upper lip hair but hmmmmmmmmmmm, not sure about it.

Anyone?

I had a pakistani friend that did it for me. Its great. I also did it myself for a while, its better than plucking or waxing, not as painful, gets all the tiny tiny hairs that waxing misses.

what is it?

she got a reel of cotton and just sort of spins the thread over you - she tested it on my arm.

I doubt you or I could do it, I think it is something handed down through the family like a skill you learn over time.

"spins" olive? is she rumplestiltskin?

Used to have it done in the middle east when I lived there. If you have someone who is skilled it is less painful than waxing and great results.

I have had waxing and htreading done on upper lip. I now only have waxing done - threading was more painful IMHO

she did spin!

She took the reel of cotton and sort of got two bits and spun it over my arm.

She didn't have a beard so not Rumple.

Very good skin however Envy.
