HELP needed with fancy dress

I've been invited to a fancy dress party in a month and I need a costume. And I have NO ideas.

I'm tallish , with a fat stomach and dodgy looking legs so what ever I choose, needs to hide this

Any ideas MNetters?!

Robot?? Get a couple of carboard boxes and some egg boxes. Hides a multitude of sins

this made me think - wouldnt a Mumsnet fancy dress meet be brilliant - you have to come as you think other people appear to be - in your imagination!

obviously cant start a thread cos some people will get mightily pissed off.
