anyone brought a car over the internet???

We're just about to purchase a new car via internet from a company called "autoebid", which is like an auction but the suppliers bid for your custom.

no experience of buying a car other than from a dealer. has anyone else brought a car on ebay, from this company or similar situations?!?!

any advice is much appreciated...

I've bought a new car from drivethedeal.com - highly recommended. they source incredibly cheap deals (basically you get fleet prices,) but the sale contract is directly with a main dealer which gives you peace of mind that you aren't handing over £35k to some faceless internet company, and are actually going to get the car!
